A University of Texas football coach is getting some weird press due to his aggressive emotional support monkey.
Danielle Thomas, the significant other of University of Texas tight end and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks, deleted her social media accounts after the couple’s monkey allegedly bit a trick-or-treater over Halloween weekend.
🤣😂You CAN NOT make this 💩 up!!!!😂🤣
The Longhorns just hired Jeff Banks who left his wife and kids to be with a stripper named Pole Assassin who has been on Jerry Springer and has a pet monkey who is a part of her stripping act!🤣😂
Which ‘Core Value’ is this again!?🤣😂🤣 pic.twitter.com/h4tujmTfQn— Gig’Em Aggies! 👍 (@MottThunder2) January 15, 2021
The incident became public on Monday night after Texas sports photographer Tom Campbell reported that the monkey had attacked a child.
Thomas responded to the allegations and things quickly spiraled out of control.
According to USA Today, the monkey was reportedly in a cage located in an off-limits gated area, far from where the couple had set up Halloween activities.

“I don’t even play when it comes to my animals and I know all the legal rules on them,” Thomas said in the now-deleted video while showing a do-not-enter/no-touching sign on the gate. “How could she viciously bite someone if they don’t stick their hand in there where it don’t belong? This is her home and her home only … Don’t touch. No one’s allowed back here without my permission.”

Thomas, who was once an exotic dancer, was quickly dubbed the “pole assassin” in relation to the incident- a play on her Instagram username.
