Child star Amanda Bynes looks unrecognizable in recent photos shot by paparazzi while she was walking down Hollywood Boulevard.
The actress, who was once an American icon in her youth poised for superstardom, was recently seen sporting long black hair and what appears to be copious amounts dermal fillers in her face.
Bynes began her career as a child, appearing on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That (1996–2000) and its spin-off series The Amanda Show (1999–2002). She would later start appearing in Hollywood films.
I don't know what happened to Amanda Bynes behind closed doors or the amount of trauma she sustained from it.

But I pray for a future where this stops happening to children. Hollywood is run by evil people. pic.twitter.com/8e8MS18eNO
In 2012, Bynes was charged with driving under the influence in West Hollywood, though the charge was dropped two years later and she received a three-year probation.
The following year, Bynes was charged with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after she was found smoking in the lobby of her Manhattan apartment building, but New York County judge ultimately dismissed the case against her.
Eventually, it became apparent that Bynes was suffering from mental disorders after she was detained for attempted arson in Thousand Oaks.
Over the years, Bynes has had multiple psychotic episodes and even claimed a microchip was implanted in her brain.
According to the Daily Mail, Bynes has since started wearing wigs [after buzz-cutting her hair] and is going to a manicurist school, though she’s currently struggling with her training.
“Since I haven’t passed the board exam yet to get my manicurist license, I started back at school to study manicurist theory to practice doing acrylics before I take the test again so I’ll be good to go when I get a job at a nail salon,” she said in April.
