Bystander saves kayaker in daring rescue

Bystanders team up to save a kayaker that got caught in rapid waters in Six Mile Creek, Alaska, on August 12. Onlooker James Bennett caught the moment amateur kayaker Obadiah Jenkins was caught in a current and hit a submerged mid-channel rock causing his kayak to flip and him to be thrown into the chilly water. Bennett, standing on the opposite side of the creek, can be heard shouting for help as he watched Jenkins being taken by the rapid water.
