A man is being called “the best neighbor ever” for telling his neighbor he has seen his wife cheating.
While covering his face with his hooded sweatshirt, the neighbor speaks to the alleged husband of the cheating wife through the doorbell camera.
“I live in the neighborhood, your wife is cheating,” he says.
He states he tried to warn him by changing his wifi name to the man’s home address, “1744,” and “your wife is cheating.”
“I don’t know how you didn’t catch on,” he states. “Every day when you go to work, a Nissan parks three houses down.”
The neighbor goes on to say he sees the man walk down the street and enter the home through the back door, seemingly to avoid the front camera.
“I’m assuming you don’t have cameras back there, your wife is smart but she’s unfaithful.”
The neighbor seems as if he doesn’t want to be involved but felt it is necessary to tell his fellow neighbor.
As he leaves, he instructs the camera that he is going to “walk in this direction” but states that doesn’t mean he lives in that direction.
The front door camera video was reposted to TikTok and has received over 500k likes.
But in an ultimate twist, the neighbor ended up being wrong after receiving praise in almost every comment on social media.
In a later video, the two neighbors actually speak via the front door camera and it turned out the wife was actually the one leaving in the morning.
So who was in the Nissan? Apparently, the husband is the one who stays home and the guy who parks down the street and enters through the back door is for him.
“Okay, so you got a few things wrong there,” the husband says. “The wife is actually the one who is driving and going to work and the guy is for me, and yes, he does come in my back door.”
But as for many viral videos these days, numerous of them are fake and staged for views.
The original poster of the video, Derek Lipp, is known for comedy content on TikTok.
So in the end, it seems like most people were duped into praising the “best neighbor ever” for his valiant act of being a “good bro.”
