A driver tearing recklessly through the streets of Manhattan clipped a police officer’s legs as he peeled off to make his escape, cops said early Sunday.
The fast and furious daredevil was doing donuts in a black four-door sedan on W. 42nd St. near 10th Ave. in Midtown when the officer approached the vehicle around 11:40 p.m. Saturday, according to authorities.
The dangerous drifter gunned it as the officer approached, clipping his legs, according to police.
The officer was taken to Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s hospital where his legs were treated for minor bumps and bruises.
The madcap motorist was possibly driving a Mercedes-Benz, officials said.
There were no immediate arrests.
