Marine Veteran double amputee hopes to bring home the gold at Paralympics

Joe Townsend was only 19-years-old when held lost both of his legs in a landmine accident serving as a Royal Marine in Afghanistan.

From not being strong enough to feed himself to a two-time Ironman winner, Joe is making the ‘the best out of a bad situation’ and inspiring others. He has spent the last four years preparing for the Paralympics and Joe is making every effort to bring home the gold.
