A Friday night Nebraska high school basketball game was the scene of two half-court shots and a 3 pointer as Waverly Vikings and Blair Bears faced-off. With 4.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter and the score tied, the first shot by Blair was no good due to a foul in the back court. Waverly steals the ball during the replay during whch the Vikings coach calls a time out just before the second shot was made and the ref determined that shot was no good. With less than 2 seconds on the clock the Vikings score the final buzzer shot, winning 53-50. “And the place went absolutely crazy,” said Viking Coach Ryan Reeder.
