Boston police officers assigned to Mobile Operations unveiled a brand new kitty condo for their beloved team mascot, which they affectionately refer to as Swat Cat. According to police, officer Jamie Pietroski, a 15-year veteran of the department, “stayed late after work for several nights painstakingly preparing Swat Cat’s new home” which “features a spacious studio interior layout, a large deck for outdoor dining and glass sliding doors offering panoramic city views.”
Officers in the unit have been caring for Swat Cat ever since the stray calico began frequenting the BPD Special Weapons and Tactics base in 2013.
